Being a sustainable person is when you are living on a planet that has everything you need. BUT some things need to be very protective so we could keep things alive!

Here are some things that we need to Protect!

1. Homes

2. Materials

3. Our Land

4. Clothing

5. Devices

6. Pets/Animals

7. Humans/Us

Why do we need to protect these things?

If we don’t protect these things, things that are made out of plastic or harmful materials could get dunked into the sea or environment and our animals or loved creatures will probably suffocate or die!

If we protect these things, we will suddenly not have to worry about people making new things for us, and our environment and animals will be saved!

What things can we do to protect our planet and things?

1. Pick up any rubbish, litter, plastic or any other harmful things and put it in the bin.

2. Put your compost in your gardens so you don’t have to waste it so the worms could grow.

3. Eat less meat so we can save our animals!

4. Reuse plastic, by making new things like toys, clothing and other useful things.

5. Save energy, by turning off lights, ovens and electricity things so we can have enough.

6. Stop cutting down too many trees, because trees could give us oxygen to breathe.

7. Stop using too much gas, by riding bikes to somewhere or walking.

8. Save water, by turning off taps straight away.

9. Give money to the poor.

10. Give any unwanted things like toys and clothing or food so they stay clean and healthy.

In Conclusion, Can we make a difference to help us stay safe and our environment? Yes we can! Help make us/animals grow!

All of us that went to camp had so much fun!

On the day we left we got to do orienteering and I was in a group with Bryalee, Isla, Tasja, Aura, Ms. Bright, Polly and Phill. The first thing we found was Black Mountain on top of a river.  I found two orienteering cards. The first one I found was Gold and the next one was Hawke, a type of bird. My favourite part was working as a team and my worst part was when it was wet and rainy.

The next day, the first activity we did was called ‘Sensory Trail.’ If you're wondering what ‘Sensory Trail’ is, it’s when you get blindfolded in a forest and hold the rope and follow it with your sense, hearing, touch and taste. For me it felt like the movie ‘Bird Box.’ My best part was the parents scaring me and my worst part was when I had to climb the rock when we could have just gone around it. 

The next activity we did was ‘Building a Shelter.’ Our shelter was made like a ‘TeePee.’ Ours were made of branched wood by a pond. My best part was nothing at all and my worst part was when the pond sank our shelter.

After we went back to the lodge so some people could get ready to go to ‘Devil’s Punchbowl’ but I didn’t go because I was cold but I played games with the people who stayed.

On the last day, the first activity we did was going to the river and making the best part of our camp made out of rocks, little sticks and flax. I was with Polly and our favourite part out of the whole came was the ‘Sensory Trail.’ The best part I liked was making the rope bit and the worst part was when the flax kept on breaking. (And we also made a stone tower.)

Next activity we did was we got to talk on a walky-talky with people and do codes to make a fact about our names and to see if we got the same blocks but the same shape. My best part was talking on it and the worst part was nothing.

After we left and it was sadly sad...😭😭😭

On the rainy weekend Pesi did Netball things, church things and birthday things!

On Friday, after Pesi went to school she got told by her annoying older brother to do his Paper-run because he was going to his “West Coast Basketball Tryouts.” Then Pesi and her Mum dropped him off but as he got out of the car he forgot his Basketball paper-slip! But Pesi and her mum didn’t want to drive all the way back home to get it so they didn’t care; they just drove off to do the paper-run. 

After they did the paper-run, Pesi’s mum got a call from her aunt to come have dinner for her uncle’s birthday, Nio's dad. So she got ready and left.

On a rainy Saturday, Pesi woke up around 6:30 to get ready because she had Netball for the semi-finals which would be a very big game. So after she got ready her dad dropped her off and her team was waiting in the veranda because it started raining very hard but the teams that were playing still carried on. Suddenly when the rain stopped, Pesi and her team went for a warm-up up the stairs and to get a stretch for their game. After that her game started and it rained for a little bit but it cleared away. In the first 3 quarters, the other team was getting all the points (and Pesi’s team was versing Star United) but in the last quarter Pesi’s team got a come-back so they made it in the FINALS!!! They were so lucky and happy as their coach! So the Paroa team better be ready!

After that Pesi got changed and ready for her Altar Serving Practise. When she got to the church they played some board games, played tic-tac humans and drew your partner with your eyes closed! Then after all that Tang helped Pesi and another person practise Altar Serving. 

After all of that Pesi and her family got another call from their aunt to go have another dinner for their uncle’s birthday again! And it was fun!

On Holy Sabbath day, Pesi woke up and just rested for the day from a crazy weekend with eating and doing things like it was all making her legs ill. And that’s all she did.

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Haylee, she lived with her mum and her dog named spottsy. Her dad was part of an army fighting in a war and had sadly recently died during it. One fresh morning, she woke up and saw someone standing right beside her bed like it was trying to wake her fully up, suddenly she was frightened and said “Who are you?!” and the mystery person said “Hi I am your imaginary friend and my name is Kate like you said and also I can magically read minds like you said! Soon later she got out of bed and said “if you can read minds what am I thinking of?” Kate replied, “I know! Unicorns!” and yep you know it, it was right. After Haylee went into the kitchen to have breakfast. When she got there her mum was making some cereal for her and said “Morning, who were you talking to because I think I heard some noise coming from your room?” and she said, “Nothing Mum! I just had a fall and started talking to myself hehe…” well ok hope your alright here’s your breakfast then after get changed and do your homework! After she finished breakfast and got changed, she settled her homework on her desk and started doing it. Then her imaginary friend came out and saw her struggling with something, so she read her mind and saw that she didn’t know the last answer. So she asked her “do you need some help?” and she said “Yes please!” so she helped her and finished her homework. After doing her homework her mum called out to her and said “Come on we’re going to the supermarket!” So they went. When they got there Haylee’s imaginary friend popped out and said “Can you make me into real life I saw something suspicious” so Haylee knew what to do and let her out. Next Kate read the suspicious man’s mind and found that he was going to rob the store. So she went to the man and started getting him to the floor and found out he was a prisoner that escaped 2 years ago. So then Kate said to ”call the cops!” So Haylee’s mum called the cops immediately and they came. Then the cops arrested him and after that Kate got a reward and the reward was 10m dollars! Next Kate didn’t want it because it was too much so she gave all the money to Haylee and her mum because they lost their dad(And Husband). And Kate became Haylee’s alive imaginary Best Friend!

In my class I do Monday writing about our news in the weekend or the holidays! Here's my piece of writing. Enjoy!

On the weekend Pesi did church things and boring things.

On Saturday, her mum came into her room and woke her up very EARLY! Because she had to go for a walk with her dad, her brother and her mum. After getting ready, they started walking to the hill they were going to walk on. After they walked they went home and had some breakfast. 

After Breakfast....

After that Pesi played some Roblox and talked to her friend Nicole. Also after playing some Roblox Nicole and Pesi started doing some designs for something. Pesi did fruit designs and Nicole worked out what they were going to do to make their something work. (It say something because it's important business work) After that Pesi went on her computer and watched some movies and she watched Mermaids are real. 

Altar Serving Practise

Around 2:30 she went and had a shower because she was going to go to Altar Serving Practise at the church. After getting ready, around 3:45, she went to the church because it was already 4:00. The first thing she did with the others doing altar serving was they played a game, and the game was that they needed one chair for each person except for the person in the middle and there is always one person that has no chair. So the person in the middle say’s something like ‘whoever has blonde hair’ and the people with blonde hair have to run around and quickly get a chair before they are the person that has no chair and has to pick whatever to get a chair. After that they all played another game, first you need a small ball and someone has it, if they throw it to you then you have to say a holy word or a name in the bible but it has to go in alphabetical order. After having those games they gathered in and had to do a test on the chapter 1 in the Bible of Genesis. They had to pair up and Pesi paired up with Nikayla. After the test they marked it and Pesi and Nikayla got 11/22 but the highest was 15/22 which Pyper and Kinae got. They got to have the prize because they won. After that they all had a snack and got lollie cakes, biscuits, popcorn and PIZZA! (Very Yum!) After that they did Altar Serving practise in the church.

The Next Day…

On Sunday, Pesi woke up at 7:46 because she had to go to church. After church Pesi and her family went shopping for a few things. After that she went home and got changed into comfortable clothes and cleaned her room up and had some breakfast. After that she played some Roblox and talked to Nicole again and also did some designs too. After that Pesi got ready because she was going to watch her big brother's league game. When they got there her little brother and her got out and went to the little playground there to play while their big brother played his game. After the game they went home and had some Lunch. After having some lunch Pesi helped her mum fold the clothes from the washing. And that’s it.

For my reflection, I thought I did great but was very busy on fixing up the third person and editing. And I thought I should've did better on making sure I put the sentences in order because I kinda mucked up while fixing the third person. Hope you Enjoyed!

Quick Write 24/7/20

Once upon a time there was an angry clown called Manny Lanny he was sadly the only clown left because his other clown friends died and that’s why he was angry. The horrible creatures who killed them were yetis they always hated clowns because they always did naughty tricks on them. One Terrible day, the clown went on a walk in the cold Ice forest to hunt down a big T-Rex for disguise from the horrifying yetis. As he went he saw cute red pandas, sleepy foxes and running squirrels. A few hours later, he made a comfortable sleeping spot and slept, when he was sleeping there came a big T-Rex! The T-Rex didn’t see him so it stood hardly on the poor clown. Then the clown woke up very angry and cries very loudly. There were not only nice things in that cold ice forest there were also dangerous yetis! As he cried, yetis from all over heard him, so all of them grabbed their huge sharp weapons and went on the sneaky hunt. 2 hours later, a yeti found him and nearly killed him until the king of all yetis said, ‘STOP! Don’t hurt him!’ So he stopped, and the clown started panicking with pain. Then the king said ‘We won’t hurt you because you're the one who didn’t do anything to us, it was only your friends’ so the friendly king helped the poor clown in pain, and brought him home to the yeti doctors to get him safely checked up. After he got checked up the last clown and all the yetis suddenly became kind friends and suddenly infected the clown to be kind.

My Holiday News By Pesi

Pesi’s Holiday News 20/7/20

One crazy morning, Pesi woke up with frizzy hair and brushed her teeth. Next Pesi’s dad called out for her and said, “We are going to Timaru go pack!”So Pesi went to her room to pack her things. After packing Pesi, Kata and their dad hit the road to go to Timaru. 

When they got there, Kata and Pesi went to go play with their cousin’s Trisilla, Neo-mai and Oscar. A few days later on Saturday, it was Oscar’s Birthday! So they got ready and hopped in the car and went to Flip Out! They started bouncing around like monkeys and doing crazy flips. After jumping around they went back into the car and went to Mcdonalds for dinner. 

Around 4:00pm Pesi, Trisilla, Neo-Mai, Oscar and their mum went to Oamaru to go see their auntie. When they got there they played for a bit and afterwards went to this big hall in the town and watched people dance. At 9pm they traveled back to Timaru because sadly Pesi had to go back to Greymouth.

When they got back…

The next week on Friday, Pesi went to see her childhood best friend who lived in Palmerston North. When they found each other they went to the town square and went to buy some stuff to make slime.

When they got home they grabbed a bowl, a mixing tool, activator, colouring food and obviously glue. So after making their slime it was time to say goodbye. 

The next day, Pesi woke up and got ready for her netball game. After getting ready she went to the courts and played with her team. At the end of the game they won and got 7 and the other team got 2.
